PHL2PHX Round Robin Quilt: Sooz’s square

Back in March, I showed you the center square for my Round Robin Quilt. Remember the teapots?
Well, in April I worked on the first set of borders for Sooz's quilt.

Sooz's quilt

Her center square was made up of four rows of 2" squares. On top of the squares she sewed yoyos. So pretty! I decided to add a bit of yellow to her color scheme and did a nine-patch border using one of her fabrics and one from my stash. I think it's very whimsical!

I finished in time for our hand-off in late April and now I have Danielle's square. It's so cool to see everyone's unique creative vision as the quilts make their rounds.
