Didja miss me?
I got in last night at around 9:30. It felt more like 3am since I had been up since 5am Athens time which is 11pm EST. Bizarre. I called Ken from the airport to let him know i was on my way and he hadn’t gone to bed yet. I was up and showered and ready to go… that freaks me out.
My trip was awesome. I saw a lot of historical sites, tons of ruins, ate amazing food, met interesting people, and generally had a life changing experience.
I am at work today… a bit jet-lagged, a bit shell-shocked, but overall, happy and healthy, although my face broke out really bad and I have a huge zit on the tip of my nose. I wonder if it was all the olive oil I ate? (Which was amazing by the way… totally doesn’t compare to the olive oil here.)
Tonight I need to sort out all my souvenirs and send them to the right people. I’m glad tomorrow is already Wednesday and I have a chiropractor appointment which will be nice since 10 hours in the air is not always comfortable.
I took about 100 photos with my digi-cam and 14 rolls of 35mm film. I’ll try to get some of the photos up in the next few days and start journalling my trip events. Right now I’m too tired to do anything but clean out my work email box.
