It’s National Food Day and what better way to celebrate than to tell you all about Foodzie! It’s a monthly subscription for foodies! Each month, Foodzie puts together a box of sample-sized, artisan treats from all over the country and ships it to subscribers. My first box was fall themed and the treasures were plentiful.
Inside my fall Foodzie box, I received two strips of Nagimi’s fruit leather, AvenueSweets’ pumpkin spice caramels, Nana Mae’s organic apple juice, CB’s Nuts’ salted pumpkin seeds, Off the Farm’s apple cinnamon energy bar and two small bottles of Ben’s Grade A and Grade B maple syrup. The caramels are AMAZING and the sports bar was like apple crumb cake. It did not taste like a cardboard box like most energy bars! I also sampled the pumpkin seeds and they were great as well! I’m thinking some pumpkin waffles will be a great showcase for the maple syrup and apple cider. And I’m going to pack the fruit leathers in my lunch this week.
Each box is shipped with a card that explains all of the food items and full-sized portions are available for purchase on the Foodzie website. I am SO getting more of those caramels!
