Finishing

Last night I finished the Lady Z scarf. No photos because the black was not showing up well in the photo… it looked like a puddle of ink.

It’s a 5 ft. garter stitch scarf done in Bernat Boa. It’s really pretty. I am also making Lady Z a pair of black mittens in Lamb’s Pride Bulky with the Bernat Boa around the cuffs. I think she’ll really like them.

I worked a bit on the Baby Boy Bryson Blanket but I loaned my size G crochet hook to one of the girls in my crochet class. I did a bit in size F, but I didn’t like the way the needle felt in my hand, so after 1 row, of shells I put it down.

I am leaving work early today to hit the Tangled Web. I am in search of 2 buttons to finish the 2 evening bags that I made. I need to sew the button on 1 of them before I see Melissa tonight. The other one is being sent ot my sister in Florida tomorrow for her birthday.

Photos of those later tonight when they are finished.

It’s me again. I’m making a scarf using the Boa yarn, too. It’s working out so nicely. Mine is supposed to be 4 ft. long but I think I’ll add to the length a bit. We’ll see when I get to 4 ft. I found a matching hat pattern that I’ll try and if I like both for myself, I think I’ll make a set for my Mom for Christmas.

the Boa is really nice. I’m wanting one for myself in that fire-y orange/red color!
